Several years ago I was asked by a friend if I had ever repaired this type of chair. I said no, but was willing to give it a go.
After much research and some trial and error the chair was repaired.
My friend came to collect the chair, sat on it and said, "it's an experience you never forget" and as anyone who owns one will tell you, it's true, they are unique in comfort and design.
I have repaired several more since then and even made some new ones.
